Clairvoyance at Sea

Cruise Ship Norwegian Dawn

Cruise Report 2010

Hi everyone.

I would like to thank everyone who came on this years Caribbean Cruise. We had a thoroughly fantastic time visiting some beautiful ports of call including Dominican Republic, British Virgin Islands, Barbados, Antigua and St Kitts.

It was lovely to see so many familiar faces, as well as welcoming on board the newcomers to our cruise family – the Holbrookers! Those who came on as solo travellers, or the ‘new to cruise’ travellers all left with very many friends who will keep in touch for a long time. We know it is also your holiday, and you can do as much or as little as you like, you can all join each other for trips, or simply relax by yourself in a quiet corner, it’s entirely up to you. As we always say, arrive a stranger, leave as a friend.

The evenings of clairvoyance were as special as always, with people from all nationalities receiving comforting messages from loved ones who have passed, as well as receiving wonderful psychic portraits from Sandy Ingham, and many people took advantage of private readings from Jane Jackson and Janet Gay, both fantastic, and this year Margaret Cook, the holistic healer was very well received, and did a marvellous job.

With the ‘always on the go’ and ever- knowledgeable Jean Merry on hand – our cruise co-ordinator - everything was as smooth as it could be (apart from the ocean sometimes!) Jean makes sure nothing is too much trouble and will go out of her way to make sure things are perfect. It was so nice to be in the company of so many like-minded people on a fantastic cruise liner in a perfect location.

Next year, we do hope to shake things up a little bit, and have a different area of the world for the cruise – we hope to have an Italian and Greek Island cruise in September 2011, I am sure wherever we go, it will be another fantastic opportunity to enjoy a lovely holiday, meet lots of new friends, and become part of the ‘Holbrookers’ extended family!

Watch this space!!!

Below, there is a message from Jean Merry - our Cruise co-ordinator, followed by two of the emails we received.

Steve

Hi Holbrooker’s its Jean

It’s only been 4 weeks since we arrived back from the Beautiful Warm Caribbean and it already seems like a year. I don’t think I have been warm since my return.

AAH well …I will think positively until our next reunion in 2011. I have already started the ball rolling and it looks like it will be Sept 18th 2011 so pencil the date in. As soon I have more details for you all rest assured I will get them out to everyone ASAP.

I also wanted to thank you all again so so much for the lovely gift you all bought me. Steve & Rob have seen me wearing them and commented on how lovely they were. (mmm!! sounds interesting).

I cannot thank you all enough and I have been saying that to you for 4 years now…. It’s so kind of you all BUT it is my job and I do what I do happily, even more so when I have such lovely people to help and assist where necessary. You are always a smashing group and the newcomers this year yet again found just how easy it is to be a part of this group even if you come on own you are never alone if you don’t want to be.

So keep looking at the website for up to the minute information, but a brochure will automatically be sent to you once the finer details have been agreed.

Take Care all of you love from both Ray & myself to you all and see you again in 2012.

Jeanxxx

The following is from one of the 'Holbrookers'

Dear Jean

I am still talking about the cruise to my friends telling them how much I enjoyed it. I didn’t know anyone that was going to be in the group except for Steve and Rob, not even the lady I was sharing a cabin with (we had just shared a few phone calls). We met for the first time at the airport the night before departure.

I had a wonderful time and met a lot of very lovely people and Lesley and I shared a cabin for the duration of the holiday without killing each other!!!! We are still in touch and hopefully we will meet again on the next cruise if not before.

Cruising is great for single people as it is so safe and you are not left on your own in Steve’s group. Everyone is very friendly and looks after you. Jean Merry will organise cabin shares for people that can’t afford the single supplement and in my opinion she goes that extra mile to make sure everything goes to plan and everyone has a good time. So thank you Jean and Steve and Rob for a wonderful holiday!! I can’t wait for the next one!!!

All the very best

Terri

Feedback from Melanie

Hi Stephen and Rob,
Just wanted to say a very big thank you to you both for making David and I so welcome last night at the Fox and Goose, and also for making Mum's birthday night so special. She certainly wasn't wrong about all the amazing stuff she has told us about you - and I think Rob does an amazing job of making everything run so smoothly and seamlessly for you to then do what you do so brilliantly Stephen. It was such a warm and gentle evening and we loved every minute of it! Thank you too for making mum's cruise experience so fab too! I was so very proud of her for taking that brave step to go off on her own and she came back just bursting with excitement about the whole experience. You both made it very special for her - so heartfelt thanks.... Looking forward to seeing you again as soon as we can - and if you ever have a spare half hour in sunny Derbyshire again - then give me a buzz and come and see us - please?! Much love and thanks, Mel x
